Technical Management
More than 20 employees take care of the technical management of our own and third-party vessels. This is performed under the overall control of experienced nautical and technical superintendents on shore who look after the ships with a great deal of flexibility and are always on standby.
The duties of the technical management comprises carrying out regular inspections and docking, planning and supervising maintenance work and repairs, budget planning and cost control, as well as technical and nautical crew leadership. To optimise preventive maintenance, to keep records on important spare parts and to process the ordering, special software is used both onboard the ships and ashore. With the help of regular online updates, we ensure direct dialogue is maintained between the crew on board and the technical management.
On-going further-training measures keep our superintendents up-to-date on the latest technical state of the art and assure the effective technical supervision of the fleet at the highest possible level. This achieves the utmost in safe ship operations for 365 days a year.
